ABOUT US
The Home Decor Blog for People Who Live in Their Homes
Rental walls, awkward layouts, IKEA furniture, and zero desire to spend a fortune that’s where Happy Home Hue began.
MY STORY
Why This Blog Exists
Hi, I’m Anna Grace, and I started this home decor blog because I couldn’t find advice that matched my actual life. Every tutorial assumed I had high ceilings, a contractor budget, and an afternoon free of kids or roommates. I didn’t. So I figured it out myself one room at a time and started writing it all down.
Happy Home Hue is for the woman who saves a hundred pins and still doesn’t know where to start. It’s for the renter who wants her apartment to feel intentional. It’s for the homeowner who bought the house but hasn’t touched the living room in three years because it feels too big a project.
How It All Started
Every decor blog I found felt out of reach high ceilings, designer budgets, and a staging crew. That wasn’t my life at all.
Rental walls. Awkward layouts. IKEA furniture. Zero desire to spend a fortune. I made it work and documented every step
What started as notes for myself became a blog for every woman who wants her space to feel intentional without the overwhelm.
“Good design isn’t about spending more. It’s about choosing better.”

What makes this different
Every piece of advice here comes from real experience.
Real paint swatches taped to real walls, real furniture measured three times before purchasing, real mistakes that taught me something worth sharing.
Real talk, not magazine talk
This isn’t a magazine. It’s more like getting advice from a friend who’s obsessed with interiors and has strong opinions about curtain height.
Honest product links
I link to products I’ve used or would genuinely buy. I’ll tell you when the cheaper option works just as well.
Honest when things flop
I’ll be honest when something didn’t go as planned. Because that’s just as useful as the things that worked.
